Bloody Murder

Jacob turned on the TV, the news was already on. It showed the weather and quickly changed to the next segment. A murder of a 33 year old women. The 7th one in the past week.

Jenny was in the room as well, only half listening to the TV as she flipped through pages in a book. "Sounds like a serial killer. There's nothing going on so we could go check it out," she said.

Jacob sat forward on the couch ignoring the news reporter talking. He peered in the background at the cops at the scene. "It looks like this one took place somewhere in Harlem." He thought for a second. "You're right, we should check it out." He stood up and walked out of the living room.

"Finally some action," Jenny said, standing up and walking out of the living room as well. "We need to hurry so the police don't find the killer before us."

The two descended the floors of Stark Tower until they reached the underground garage, hopping in one of the cars, they left the tower and drove through the streets of the city until they reached Harlem.

Wulfric sees the news of the murder as he walked down the dirty New York streets, the woman has claw marks of an animal on it, which would make the cops think it was usually a beast attacking her, but they found human hair at the crime scene. Wulfric was the murderer(Putting it blunt cause I didn't know how else to do it.), he seemed upset with how the news covered it, a lack of facts regarding her constant shoplifting.

The police had no leads, Wulfric wasn't on the police's radar even with the hair sample, he's been rampantly murdering petty thieves and other small time criminals, trying to set fear in bigger criminals. (Idk, I just wanted to make a post cause despite me coming up with the idea for this, IDK what I'ma do.)

Jenny hopped out of the car and looked around at the houses. "If I were a murderer where would I hide?"

Jacob opened up the driver door of the car and stepped out. He set the car keys in his pocket after locking the car. "Beats me." He replied as he looked around. "What we need is some leads as to who this person could be."

Moments after that, there was a scream down the street, it was a little bit a way but the scream was loud enough that Jacob and Jenny could hear

Jenny bolted down the street towards the scream, not bothering to wait for Jacob.

Once Jenny got there, she saw another murdered by what looked like an animal, the rib cage torn open, blood and flesh spread across about 10 feet of distance, like an animal just tearing through.

Jacob eventually came up behind Jenny. "What's going on?" He asked, however his question was answered when the body came into view.

"Holy crap," she muttered.  Jenny looked around for a possible assailant, there's no way someone could've escaped so quickly.
"It looks like a rabid dog, maybe a bear."

Jacob walked forward and bent down over the body. It's face was mangled so you couldn't tell who it was, or even it is was a guy or girl. He ravaged through the pockets trying to see if he could find some sort of identification.

Jacob found an ID to a Mr "Jessie Hernnis" the ID was in Jessie's pocket, the ID was covered in blood that seeped through the pants.

Wulfric had a nasty habit of watching the scene of the crime from afar after the murder, he was trying to figure out how the police officers handled the murders, how quick it took them to get to the scene. He watched from the roof of a far off building (He's still in sight though) and was surprised to see the Avengers, he had never seen them in person before, only heard of what the public deemed, good deeds.

Jacob lifted his hand up and held the ID card between two fingers. "Take a look at this" He called back to Jenny. "You're right, the person who did this couldn't get far."

"Yeah, yeah, sure." Jenny had spotted a figure on a rooftop that seemed to be watching them.  They seemed to be the only person around so she went after them, climbing up a ladder onto the roof of a building nearby and hopping roofs to get closer.

Jacob slipped the ID card into his pocket for further examination before he pursued after as well.

Wulfric stood there, he wasn't sure how to this, so he decided to face it head on, he waited for he to climb the ladder.

Soon Jenny was standing on the same roof as Wulfric. It was hard to brutally murder someone without getting a splash of blood on yourself, so Wulfric had just that. "Jacob," she called down,"It wasn't a dog or a bear."

Wulfric had a weird accent, it wasn't like anything they'd heard before, but it resembled stereotypical African accents. "You are the Avengers, if I am not mistaken. I have heard tales of your conquests, but never expected you to be so... Fragile looking."

Jacob quickly scaled up the ladder and flipped onto the roof Jenny and Wulfric were on. He slid to a halt and looked at the murderer. "Fragile?" He asked.

"Cause he call us fragile? Because I know he didn't call me fragile," Jenny scoffed, grabbing a knife from her belt.

"I believe that is the term for weak, is it not?" he said, not meaning offense but it, he just didn't know if Fragile was correct, seeing as English wasn't his first language.

Jacob found his accent odd, he wasn't used to hearing it. "Where exactly are you from?" He asked as he lowered his hands to his Toxin belt and flipped open two viles. Black goo slithered out and covered his casual clothing.
