Gift of Desire

Lifting his hands up, Jacob pushed off of the ground and rolled out of the way of the Timekeeper. Tapping his belt, two grapple hooks shot around the Timekeeper's ankles so he didn't fall off of the roof. Jacob yanked the grapples back and sucker punched the Timekeeper when he got near.

The punch lands, immediately breaking the timekeepers nose, Roy gets up and points his gun at the downed Timekeeper, the timekeeper was groggy after the first true hit to land

Tired of the timekeepers shit, Chris walked up to the downed villain and kicked him in the stomach. "Asshole...."

The Timekeeper rolls onto his back in pain, blood dripping to the ground from his nose "Wait wait, I have something you want to hear, just don't do that again"

Chris curiously kicked him again

"Say it quick, before I yank these grapples over the side of the building and you along with them." Jacob threatened.

[12] Chris's kick sends him towards the edge and he rolls in pain "God damn schwuchtel, agh!", as he regains composure the timekeeper says "Alright I'll tell you, it's about-" The Timekeeper rolls the rest of the way off, launching himself towards the pavement

Jacob taps a button on his belt and his grapples start retracting, pulling the Timekeeper back up onto the building.

The whiplash of the retraction slams him into the building "Fick!" and he slowly gets pulled back up by his ankles

He gets fully pulled up and says "Fine, I'll talk, but I'll need something from you first"

"Shutup and talk" Chris growled at the Timekeeper.

Leaving him on the edge of the roof, Jacob continued to speak, he tilted his head for Chris and Roy to walk up close.

"What is it?"

"I need something simple, protection and the best of it, for that I'll give you irreplaceable information, also freedom from charges and no mention of this going to any agency even S.H.I.E.L.D, if you can do that, I'll give you exclusive information, that's all I ask." The Timekeeper has blood from his nose moving into his hair at this point

"You murder a government official, and expect SHIELD, an organization closely related to the Avengers, to side with you when we go after you?" Jacob questioned.

"Save your density for prison, whatever exclusive information you have now, you better give to us before we report YOU to SHIELD."

The Timekeeper wasn't phased "If you knew what I knew, you'd know I hold the power here, we're both dead if you don't give me what I want"

"I don't easily forgive murderers." Jacob grit his teeth. "You best speak to me before I push these grapples off the hook and let you go. Information. Now!"

"I swear I'll tell you if you meet my demands, I have no reason to believe you'll keep me alive after I talk, I need protection, freedom and for this all to be unreported, it's not much, just act like today never happened, the mayor died and they'll find a way to make that believable."He seemed sincere

"I'll let you live. Tell me your information." Jacob purposely ignored to include his arrest and prosecution for murdering a government official, but don't talk about that.

"Get me off of this cord then, I have proof of what I'll be saying on me, so let me off of here"

Jacob turned his head and noticed Roy holding a gun, pointing it at the Timekeeper. Jacob knew Chris was by his side as well, so the Timekeeper would have little chance of escape if he ran. Jacob tapped the button on his belt slowly and the grapples released the Timekeeper, and retracted back into his belt.

"Talk."

The Timekeeper stood up, with his hands in the air to show he's peaceful "I want to be taken somewhere safe before I say this, even if it's your base to be held momentarily. This information can't get out to the public, especially a random guard who was in the right place at the right time" he was obviously referring to Roy.

"Chris if you have any on him, cuff him and we'll take him back to the tower." Jacob tilted his head and motioned for Chris to step forward.

Chris pulled out some wire and tied it around the Timekeepers hands. He gave it a small shock. "If you try anything I'll snap my fingers and fry you." he said sternly

Jacob calls in a Quinjet for the four to be transported and the four arrive at the top of the Avengers tower. Chris escorts The Timekeeper to a holding room, it's an entirely black room with two chairs, a desk in between the chairs, a bed and a toilet. Jacob starts to head in but is stopped by Roy "Mr Stark, I think I'll stick out here, this is Avengers business and he doesn't seem to want me in there, you'll be better off it I'm outside the room"

"Alright, don't stray too far, we don't want you getting into any trouble." Jacob replied as he led Chris and the Timekeeper into the room.
