The Avengers have been in space for 1 year now. After a portal opened up and the world was almost ended they fought the forces of evil alongside some former villains to save the universe. The aliens were defeated but toxins unknown to man were released from the ship, putting them into a deep sleep. One year later the avengers lay on a cold floor deep in space until a blaring alarm was set off. In space.

Chris woke up, he felt as his body was slightly being tugged. He looked across the room to see an oval purple hole about the size of a car. Floating in air. In space.

Jacob shook his head and opened his eyes. "Hey, what's going on?" He asked to no one in particular, just to anyone who was awake. In space.

"No idea" Chris said wiping his face. He got up and started walking towards the oval as it started tugging on all of them more. As if it was starting to obtain a gravity.

The avengers were then transported to New York city. This New York city was in ruins, seemed like a nuke had hit it. Everything was destroyed but the sky scrapers. Which had been weird to all of them. The ground had ash all over it and Avengers tower was barely standing.

Todd looked around. "What the heck happened here..." He asked.

In the sky a very large spaceship type craft hovered above the city with a wide purple beam coming down to the earth. The avengers could see a 7 foot or so figure walking towards them. Black mask, and a black cloak with a bo staff on his back. Seconds later troops with white cloaks and white masks showed up behind him.
